ABOUT THE EATONS CENTRE
The Eatons Centre, based at The Maltings, Eaton Socon is a purpose built community centre boasting a large Main Hall for life events, celebrations, and community groups. The two partitioned spaces upstairs can play host to smaller community groups, classes, or meetings and can be combined to become a larger space.
HIRABLE SPACES
The Main Hall
Situated to the rear of the development this is the largest room in the building and has a spacious and airy aura with plenty of natural light. There is a fully stocked bar and kitchen situated inside the hall. The large ground floor windows look out to the rear gardens and car park which gives the room a fresh and elegant feel.
The main hall is suitable for larger events and can take up to 150 delegates seated theatre style, or up to 70 banqueting style.
Meeting Room One
This rectangular room is perfect for a boardroom style meeting or small classes such as yoga. This room accommodates approximately 20 people boardroom style.
Meeting Room Two
The second of the two meeting rooms is an L shaped room adjacent to meeting room one and is partitioned off via a removable sliding door. It is a slightly more intimate room and its informal shape makes it perfect for a team building exercise/workshop. Also seating approximately 20, it has a large white rear wall acting as a natural projector screen.
The two meeting rooms can also be combined by removing the partitioning door, creating a larger open plan room.
CATERING
A range of food can be provided by our in-house catering team ranging from canapés to buffets to multi-course dinners. Ask one of the team and we can produce a menu to suit your needs.
HISTORY OF EATONS CENTRE
In 2000, a project began to bring a community centre to the Eaton area of St. Neots. A one acre site off The Maltings in Eaton Socon, which was owned by the Town Council, was felt to be an ideal situation for the new building. Consultation with local residents, organisations and authorities showed a requirement for a venue and meeting place for people of all ages, from pre-school to the elderly.
The Centre was officially opened by HRH The Duchess of Gloucester on 23rd April 2010. It was a modern design, incorporating a purpose built pre-school children’s area, 2 meeting rooms, a large hall, and a fully equiped kitchen and bar.

COMMUNITY
Serving the Community is our bread and butter, with numerous community groups and events using our space throughout the week. The Main Hall is host to dance and fitness classes, amateur dramatics, and children's parties, whilst our smaller Meeting Room spaces hold support groups, AGMs, and larger meetings with the two rooms combined.

Planning a small meeting, launching a new product or looking for a small interview room? The Eatons Centre is the perfect location. With the facilities and attentive staff to cater for your corporate event we will ensure your meeting or conference runs as smoothly as possible from start to finish.
WEDDINGS
Our spacious Main Hall, with adjoining rear garden, is the perfect setting for your Wedding Reception. The hall can accomodate up to 70 guests for a sit down dinner, with a DJ and dance floor available later into the evening. With our highly-trained and attentive staff, we will make sure your Wedding Reception goes smoothly and stress free.
